Frequently Asked Questions

That peppery throat kick is the physical proof of high Thymoquinone (TQ). Mild black seed oil is usually refined, heat-damaged, or diluted. Our 3.02% TQ Ethiopian press is raw and concentrated—that strong taste means the active, heat-sensitive compounds are completely intact.

Daily Storage: Store your tin in a cool, dark place like a pantry or kitchen cabinet away from direct heat and sunlight. Our opaque metal tins already shield the delicate Thymoquinone (TQ) from light degradation.

Can you refrigerate it? Yes! Refrigerating after opening helps preserve peak TQ freshness for even longer.

Important Note on Cold Storage: Because our oil is 100% raw and unfiltered, fridge temperatures will cause the natural plant fats and seed sediment to temporarily thicken and look cloudy. This is completely normal and proof of zero refining. Simply let the tin sit at room temperature for 15 minutes and shake well before pouring!

High-Altitude Potency: Grown in the volcanic soil and intense sun of Ethiopia’s Bale Mountains, these seeds develop a uniquely high concentration of active compounds.

The "Espresso" of Black Seed: While Mediterranean seeds are larger and milder, Ethiopian seeds are small, jet-black, and pungent. They yield a dense, peppery oil naturally hitting 3.02% Thymoquinone.
